Kevin Amidan, 63, passed away January 14, 2018, at his home in Marriott-Slaterville, UT, with family at his side. He was born in Marriott-Slaterville, UT, to Walter Robert and Norma England Amidan. He married Holly Garner on May 31, 1975, in Reno, NV, and to this union they were blessed with three children.

They later divorced. He married Wendy Blake in 1987, in Ogden, UT, and to this union they were blessed with a son.

He was a life long resident of Weber County where he received his elementary education and graduated from Weber High School. He Was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved the cowboy way of life and was part of the rodeo family, participating and attending rodeo's throughout his life. He loved spending time with his family, hunting and spending time in the "Great Outdoors," except in wintertime. He worked for many years in the Construction field. He owned and operated KA Trucking and also worked for Marriott Construction. He was known to be the best in his field and was always willing to lend a hand to those that needed it.

He is survived by his children: Lisa, Jennifer, Kevin (Carrie), Daven (Shaylee) Amidan; four grandchildren; siblings: Kaylynn Hadley (Denny), Julie Dickamore (Tom), Renae Bennett (John) and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Reed and Boyd Amidan, nephew, Jeffery Amidan.

The family would like to thank IHC Hospice and their staff and Dr. Strayner for their care given to Kevin. They would also like to thank Jamie and her family for their many hours of support and help given to Kevin.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Provident Funeral Home 3800 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Interment will follow in the Aultorest Memorial Park.

He will be laid to rest with Stubby and Buddy.
